Here’s the update on our Children’s Place remodel:
On the second floor, all of the ceiling and wall repairs have been completed. All of the aluminum electrical wires are being replaced with copper. The first-floor ceilings are being replaced, and new dividing walls are being built to better accommodate our needs. We’ve also been able to replace the sewage pipe between the floors, and put protective iron screens on the exterior windows.
As the work progresses, our excitement over the Children’s Place transformation grows. The children will be returning to a much more inviting and safe home, and this is reason to celebrate.
We remain profoundly grateful for our supporters who funded the remodel, and for the workers who accomplish it.
