At 1½ years old,  Torbyun, is a boy with a winning smile. We first met his parents when they visited our Developmental Center satellite in Hovd aimag, a province in western Mongolia. They came asking for help for Torbyun, but his needs were so complex that our Hovd satellite referred him directly to our Reaching.

Remodel progress report

Here’s the update on our Children’s Place remodel: On the second floor, all of the ceiling and wall repairs have been completed.  All of the aluminum electrical wires are being replaced with copper.  The first-floor ceilings are being replaced, and new dividing walls are being built to better accommodate our needs.  We’ve also been able to.

We are delighted to announce that thanks to the generosity and participation of many, The Children’s Place is being remodeled! Since opening fourteen years ago when a garage in Ulaan Baatar, Mongolia was converted into a home for orphans, 151 children have lived in the Children's Place, 68 have been adopted to both international and Mongolian.
